Amaiva Sencha Special Organic Green Tea, 180 g

The Sencha Special by Amaiva is a high-quality organic green tea from China, which is characterised by its emerald green colour and fine, tart aroma. After harvesting, the tea leaves are gently steamed to stop fermentation and then carefully rolled. This process breaks down the cell walls of the leaves, allowing the valuable ingredients to develop optimally in the tea water.

In contrast to shaded green teas, Sencha grows in full sunlight. This gives it its characteristic flavour with rich bitter substances and fresh clarity.

Origin & quality

• Origin: China - from selected, certified organic tea gardens
• Filling: In a manufacturing facility in Munich, lovingly packed by hand in aroma-sealed bags with a practical pressure seal
• Each batch is checked for residues

Preparation: Steep 1 heaped teaspoon per cup at a water temperature of 70-80 °C for 2 to 3 minutes.

Note: The hotter the water and the longer the infusion time, the higher the tea content (caffeine) and the more bitter the tea.
