Description
Psyllium husks are an excellent source of soluble fibre. The fibre contained in this plant is able to bind water 50 times more than other sources of fibre. Insoluble fibre can often lead to intolerance of food. Soluble fibre on the other hand, such as that found in psyllium husks, is an ideal way to add more fibre to the diet.
Suggested Intake:
- Mix 1 - 2 teaspoons in lukewarm water or tea and consume immediately.
- Important to note: consume at least 200 ml of fluids thereafter - take either between meals or before going to sleep.
