Description
Palmarosa is a herbaceous plant native to Asia and is cultivated in humid areas. It has a lovely floral scent that is similar to rose and geranium.
Its essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the above-ground parts of the plant. This mild essential oil is composed primarily of geraniol and geranyl acetate.
The plant chemotype is botanically and biochemically determined by HEBBD.
