Description
Turmeric belongs to the ginger plant species and is referred to as a symbol of happiness and sunshine in the Hindu culture. Turmeric is a spice based in Ayurvedic cuisine and an essential part of all curry mixtures.
The Allepy variety is characterized by an aromacti and spicy taste with a slight bitter note and is comes from the farmer Project (PDS) in India. Turmeric provides food with a beautiful yellow colour and is often used in dishes that are rich in carbohydrates such as rice, pasta, potatoes and legumes, making these types of foods easier to digest.
