Description
Coconut oil is a raw material that is valued for its softening, nourishing and moisture-retaining properties. It can also be used as a hair oil (small amounts) to provide shine as well as strength. The oil solidifies at room temperature. To reverse this effect, simply place in a warm water or heat the oil slightly.
Application:
- Use on its own or to create homemade cosmetics such as body creams, nourishing scrubs, sun oil or after-sun care.
- Saponification factor: 0.190 mg NaOH / g coconut oil
- Common percentage amount used in soaps or creams: 10-50%
