Cocoa Butter is a natural, firm butter that is naturally rich in fatty acids (oleic & linoleic acids). Thus it possesses protecting, nourishing and skin-softening properties. Furthermore, the product also has antioxidant effects and can be applied to the skin as is, or used as a base (thickening agent) for homemade cosmetics. However, it may promote skin irritations on susceptible skin types.
