Description
The abbreviation MCT stands for medium-chain triglycerides, or medium-chain fatty acids. To put it simply, medium-chain fatty acids can be processed particularly well by the body. The advantage is that they do not have to be digested and transported throughout the body, but are absorbed directly into the system. There they are converted directly into energy and ensure that energy requirements are met immediately.
This oil is a combination of approx. 40 % capric acid and approx. 60 % caprylic acid.
The oil can be used in salads, sauces, smoothies or Bulletproof coffee.
Recipe for Bulletproof coffee:
Ingredients:
- 200 ml freshly brewed coffee
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp organic pasture butter
- Cow's milk or plant milk
Preparation: Mix all the ingredients in a blender and enjoy.
