Description
Birch sugar, also known as xylitol, is a natural sugar substitute that closely resembles regular table sugar in taste, appearance and sweetness. It is derived from Finnish birch trees and is ideal for baking (except yeast-based dough), cooking, and sweetening drinks.
Note:
- Not suitable for yeast dough.
- May have a laxative effect if consumed in excess (more than 30g xylitol per serving or 50 g per day).
- The fill level of the powder contents may vary between packs due to technical reasons.
