Raab Vitalfood GmbH Organic Premium Matcha, 30 g

Raab Vitalfood's organic Matcha tea consists of finely ground green tea leaves. Matcha is one of the oldest varieties of tea in Japan. Only a few tea farmers have mastered the art of matcha production. Four weeks before the harvest, the tea plantations are covered, during which time the tea leaves acquire their typical flavour due to the reduced sunlight. After drying, the matcha leaves are ground into a fine, green powder.

Preparation: Pour 1/2 teaspoon of matcha into a bowl and pour 80 °C hot, preferably soft water over it. Then whisk the tea with a small matcha whisk for approx. 15 seconds until frothy.
Matcha can be refined with milk or soy milk, for example.

Note: Contains caffeine. Not suitable for children or those who are pregnant. (contains 2350 mg caffeine per 100 g)

Recipe suggestion - Matcha Power Smoothie

Preparation time: approx. 5 mins.

Ingredients for 1 person:

• 200 g bananas
• 100 ml soy or rice drink
• 100 g ice cubes
• 1 tsp Raab Organic Matcha
• Sweeten to taste, e.g. with Raab birch sugar.

Method:
Place all the ingredients in a blender jar and blend on high speed until frothy. Enjoy!
